Sales Administrative Assistant

As a Sales Administrative Assistant, you will be responsible for servicing an existing customer base, obtaining and processing RFQs and orders, and maintaining established customer accounts. You will be required to enter data for all purchases and account information into the company ERP database, as well as input notes and other data into Excel spreadsheets and other Microsoft platforms. Additionally, you will work closely with other departments to support customer needs and communicate opportunities, feedback, special developments, or information collected during customer interactions to the appropriate company staff.

Responsibilities:

  • Service existing customer base by obtaining and processing RFQs and orders.
  • Maintain established customer accounts.
  • Enter data for all purchases and account information into the company ERP database.
  • Input notes and other data into Excel spreadsheets and other Microsoft platforms.
  • Work closely with other departments to support customer needs.
  • Communicate opportunities, feedback, special developments, or information collected during customer interactions to proper company staff.
  • Manage multiple priorities, including repetitive clerical support work, while maintaining a focused eye for detail.
  • Support the Sales Manager with additional tasks as needed.
  • Answer the main phone line and the Sales phone line, directing calls as appropriate.
  • Respond to visitors at the doors, per schedule, and page staff as appropriate.

Essential Skills:

  • Proficiency in Sales, Data Entry, Customer Service, and Sales Support.
  • Strong Administrative Support skills.
  • Competency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

  • At least 12 months of customer service or data entry experience.
  • Experience using Excel and Microsoft Office platforms.

Job Type & Location:

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bozeman, Montana.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $32.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
