Hello! We are currently hiring for Residential Service Plumber here in Phoenix, AZ!

Job Description

As a service plumber, you will perform plumbing services ranging from simple faucet repairs to water heater installations and plumbing system replacements. Your role will involve diagnosing and resolving plumbing issues, ensuring customer satisfaction through effective solutions and service sales.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to customer service calls, conduct thorough inspections of plumbing issues, accurately diagnose problems, offer effective solutions and estimates, and successfully close service sales.
• Proficiently install and repair various plumbing fixtures including sinks, toilets, bathtubs, water heaters, garbage disposal units, dishwashers, and water softeners, with the necessary licensing.
• Conduct sewer and drain cleaning services in diverse environments such as basements, roofs, confined spaces, and close quarters.
• Ensure thorough cleaning and restoration of work sites to meet pre-job conditions.
• Prepare invoices, total costs of services/products provided, collect payment, and explain the service guarantee both in writing and on provided smartphone.

Essential Skills

• Valid driver's license.
• Five or more years of repair and service plumbing experience.
• Proven track record in the sale of plumbing products and services.
• Full knowledge of plumbing systems.
• Excavation Certification through Competent Person Training (OSHA requirement) within the first year of employment.
• Journeyman license or equivalent certification as specified by the state.
• Good written and oral communication skills for effective customer service.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in client and co-worker relations.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Backflow certifications (support provided to obtain).
• OSHA 10 certification (support provided to obtain).
• Approachable, talkative, outgoing, friendly demeanor.
• Experience with preventative maintenance, water heater installs, repairs, and drain cleaning.
• Knowledge in handling PVC, cast iron, copper materials.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Glendale, AZ.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $200000.00/yr.
