HVAC Service Technician

We're looking for a skilled and reliable HVAC Service Technician to join our team. In this role, you'll diagnose, repair, and maintain residential and/or commercial heating, cooling, and ventilation systems. Technicians will receive commission, as well as have access to a company van, tools and uniforms

Responsibilities

• Perform service, maintenance, and repairs on HVAC systems.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues using diagnostic tools.
• Install HVAC equipment, thermostats, and related components.
• Conduct routine system inspections and preventive maintenance.
• Communicate findings and repair recommendations to customers.
• Maintain accurate service records and follow company procedures.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, EPA regulations, and local codes.
• Participate in on-call rotation as needed.

Essential Skills

• Mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with installation and repair of HVAC systems.
• Knowledge of electrical systems and boiler operations.
• EPA certification or ability to obtain.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in HVAC service or completion of an HVAC training program.
• Strong diagnostic knowledge of refrigeration cycles, electrical systems, and airflow principles.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and technical manuals.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• 2+ years of field experience.
• Experience with smart thermostats and modern HVAC controls.
• Familiarity with both residential and light commercial systems.

Work Environment

Technicians are provided with a service truck and must be over 21 years of age. The work involves using diagnostic tools and hand tools to ensure efficient service delivery.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Dallas, TX.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35660.00 - $52000.00/yr. No medical benefits, but they pay commission

Workplace Type

This is a fully onsite position in Dallas,TX.
