Refrigeration Service Technician

As a Refrigeration Service Technician, you will monitor HVAC and refrigeration equipment to ensure optimal performance through proactive and preventative maintenance. You will identify and troubleshoot present issues, traveling up to 60% of the time across the United States to customer sites for installations and maintenance. Technicians will support refrigeration system installs at various locations globally, assisting with installation, startup, and training of maintenance staff.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain HVAC and refrigeration equipment.
• Perform proactive and preventative maintenance.
• Identify and troubleshoot issues with equipment.
• Travel up to 60% of the time to customer sites for installations and maintenance.
• Assist with installation, startup, and training of maintenance staff at customer sites.

Essential Skills

• 3+ years of experience in HVAC/R.
• Experience with HVAC, EPA, and refrigeration systems.
• Controls experience, including AVB, Carel, Novar.
• Experience working with CO₂ refrigeration systems and/or Glycol chillers and secondary loop systems.
• EPA Universal certification.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Previous experience as an industrial refrigeration service technician.
• Hands-on experience with CO₂ and/or glycol refrigeration systems.
• Strong understanding of refrigeration controls and automation.
• Comfortable working with large-scale industrial systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot independently in the field.
• Willingness to travel to customer facilities as required.

Work Environment

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $95000.00/yr.
