Receiving Clerk

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Receiving Clerk to join our dynamic team. This role involves handling incoming shipments, maintaining accurate inventory records, and ensuring that all received materials meet company standards. The ideal candidate will have experience in material handling and be familiar with ERP systems.

Responsibilities:

• Unload deliveries and verify shipments against purchase orders, packing slips, and invoices.
• Inspect incoming materials for damage, defects, or discrepancies.
• Communicate any shortages, damages, or nonconformance to Quality and Purchasing.
• Actively enter receiving transactions into ERP.
• Ensure all materials are properly labeled and barcoded according to company standards.
• Support put-away of materials into correct storage locations.
• File and maintain accurate records of incoming shipments.
• Ensure receiving paperwork is complete, accurate, and properly routed.
• Communicate with Purchasing, Planning, and Logistics on delivery status or issues.
• Assist in daily cycle counts and reconciliation activities.
• Ensure all transactions match physical material flow.
• Support investigation and resolution of inventory discrepancies.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures for material handling.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment safely.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of receiving dock and staging areas.

Essential Skills:

• Experience with inventory management and ERP systems.
• Ability to inspect and verify incoming shipments.
• Proficient in using a forklift and other material handling equipment.
• Familiarity with purchase orders and inventory control systems.
• Basic computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook).

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ years of experience in warehouses, receiving, or material handling in a manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with ERP/WMS systems preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret packing slips, purchase orders, and invoices.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. and stand/walk for extended periods.
• Forklift experience required.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities.

Work Environment:

The role requires physical activity, including lifting and moving up to 35 pounds, standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, or crouching. The use of personal protective equipment is required, and good manual dexterity and multi-limb coordination are essential. The position is based in a modern facility equipped with electric charging stations, emphasizing safety and organization.

Job Type & Location:

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of NA, Arizona.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00/hr.
