Receiving Associate - 1st Shift
We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Worker to join our team. This role focuses on managing the receiving side of the warehouse, ensuring all incoming goods are inspected, processed, and stored correctly. You will play an essential part in maintaining our warehouse operations, contributing to the organization and efficiency of inventory management.
Responsibilities
- Read and understand packing slips to ensure accuracy.
- Unload trucks using both manual and electric pallet jacks.
- Systematically transfer stock to the correct location.
- Check for damages, shortages, or incorrect items and report discrepancies to inventory and procurement teams.
- Properly label, organize, and store received inventory in designated warehouse locations.
- Schedule Spare Part orders in the UPS online portal.
- Process Spare Part Orders in our ERP system.
- Label and organize packages efficiently.
- Coordinate with production personnel to assure order completion and on-time delivery.
- Monitor and regulate Spare Parts inventory both physically and systematically.
Essential Skills
- Experience utilizing UPS online portal.
- Proficiency in setting up packages for shipment and receipt in the system.
- Experience with data entry, particularly in entering data from packing slips into the ERP system.
- Ability to use Excel and FedEx/UPS website.
- Proficiency in reading packing slips, BOL, and inventory stock sheets.
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs throughout the shift.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in warehouse operations, shipping/receiving, and general labor.
- Steel-toed boots or shoes are required.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Allen Park, Michigan.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.77/hr.
