The Quality Technician will be responsible for conducting hourly inspections on parts using hand measuring tools such as digital gauges, calipers, and micrometers. This role involves walking around 12 different stamping press machines to perform quality checks on parts, documenting visual paperwork, and engaging in sorting or re-work activities. Additionally, the technician will sign off on first and last piece inspections while working with an IMS Book to determine inspection criteria on an hourly basis. Interaction with operators to ensure they are aware of proper procedures when checking parts on their machines is essential. The candidate will document one part per press per hour and visually inspect each press to ensure correct operation. Laboratory duties include working with red books and printing ICTS/control tickets. Training on welding will be provided, and the candidate must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

This is a stamping environment that can be very loud and hot during the summer. Employees must wear leather hard sole shoes and long pants, with short sleeve shirts permitted. A belt is required for tool attachment, and tools, glasses, and ear plugs are provided.
The pay range for this position is $17.50 - $20.00/hr.
