Quality Inspector

The Quality Inspector plays a pivotal role in upholding quality standards by conducting and documenting visual and dimensional inspections of manufactured products. This involves the use of suitable measurement and inspection equipment to ensure compliance with quality specifications.

Responsibilities:

• Perform Receiving, In-Process, Final, and First Article Inspections.
• Utilize hand/fixture-held equipment such as calipers, micrometers, scales, and various gauges including height, ring, pin, and plug gauges for inspections.
• Maintain accurate documentation of inspection results.

Essential Skills:

• 2+ years of Quality Inspection experience, particularly with Aerospace or Machined parts.
• 1+ years of experience using Hand held Inspection tools and CMM.
• Proficiency in GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Must meet ITAR qualifications.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience with Quality Inspection of Plastics.
• Knowledge of In-Process inspection techniques.

Work Environment:

Enjoy working in a clean, climate-controlled facility with a casual dress code. The position operates on the 1st shift from 7am to 3:30pm or 8am to 4:30pm, Monday through Friday. With a staff of 63 employees, the company fosters a collaborative environment where every team member is valued. You will work closely with a team of four other Quality Inspectors.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Anoka, MN.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
