Production Operators

Weekly Pay || $17-$18 an hour || Louisville, KY

Job Description

We are seeking motivated individuals to join our team as Production Operators. The role begins with loading parts into machines, and successful candidates may progress to other positions within the plant. There are basic quotas for parts production, with goals set for each shift. Ideal candidates will aspire to advance to the Roll Forming side of the plant.

Responsibilities

• Load parts into machines for processing.
• Meet or exceed production quotas as outlined in work instructions.
• Progress to different positions within the plant as skills develop.
• Contribute to the efficiency and productivity of the production line.

Essential Skills

• Experience in production or as a machine operator.
• Mechanical inclination with strong hand-eye coordination.
• Dexterity to handle production tasks efficiently.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Ability to use calipers and micrometers.
• Experience in driving a truck for deliveries.
• Knowledge of general production, manufacturing, punch press, and roll forming.

Work Environment

The facility is air-conditioned and climate-controlled with fans at several workstations. Steel-toed footwear is required, and uniforms are provided once permanent. The plant includes Hot Roll, Cold Roll, and Punch Press areas, producing parts from brass, aluminum, and stainless steel, and features a polishing department with various machines. Work is conducted on the first shift from 7am to 3:30pm, Monday to Friday, and the third shift from 10:30pm to 7am, Sunday to Thursday. Please note that the summer season is particularly busy.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Louisville, Kentucky.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $18.00/hr.
