General Laborer

We are seeking a dedicated General Laborer to assist in the assembly of warehouse racks. This role involves the use of hand and power tools to build racks according to blueprints and instructions. The position requires the ability to lift up to 50lbs and stand for 8-10 hour shifts while operating equipment such as forklifts and scissor lifts.

3rd Shift - 7:00pm to 5:30am Sunday through Saturday Morning. Saturday Nights off.

Overtime paying $27.75/hr. to $30/hr.

Responsibilities

• Assemble warehouse racks using hand and power tools.
• Interpret and follow blueprints and instructions for racking and part assembly.
• Lift materials weighing up to 50lbs.
• Stand for 8-10 hour shifts during assembly work.
• Operate forklifts and scissor lifts as needed.

Essential Skills

• General labor experience.
• Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
• Experience in assembly tasks.
• Ability to operate a forklift.
• Ability to use a scissor lift.
• Capability to accurately use a tape measure.

Work Environment

This role is based in a clean, well-lit manufacturing/distribution facility. Some dust from construction activities may be present. The work schedule is from 7 PM to 5:30 AM, Sunday night to Saturday morning, working six days a week. Safety gear such as steel-toed boots, a high-visibility vest, and a hard hat are required.

This is a Contract position based out of Aurora, Ohio.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.00/hr.
