Job Description
Set up and operate assembly equipment as assigned. Perform die change and set-up duties. Load and unload parts in and out of welders, dies, trunions, and/or assembly fixtures. Operate equipment that welds, stamps, presses, crimps, stakes, and/or rivets together parts and/or sub-assemblies. Perform manual assembly, welding, and tapping operations as required. Ensure quality and quantities of parts produced meet required quality specifications and production rates. Perform light, routine maintenance on assigned equipment. Fill out all necessary paperwork associated with the job, including start-up checklists, pre-shift inspection sheets, labor tickets, scrap records, downtime tracking sheets, quality assurance checks, and product identification tags.
Essential Skills
Experience in either manufacturing or warehouse settings. Ability to work at a very fast pace. Capability to perform medium lifting of up to 50 lbs and the stamina to stand and move all day. Possession of steel-toe footwear.

This is a contract to hire position based out of Garland, Texas.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $15.45/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
