PLC Technician 28 - 35 Hr.

Industrial Maintenance/PLC Technician

Working with a manufacturing facility in the Sanford/Lake Mary area that is seeking qualified Industrial Maintenance/PLC Technicians for 2nd and 3rd Shift.

Responsibilities:

• Perform troubleshooting and maintenance on PLC systems.
• Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance tasks on electrical systems and machinery.
• Maintain and troubleshoot photo eye sensors, automation systems, and robotics.
• Utilize CMMS for maintenance tracking and reporting.
• Work with Siemens PLCs and ladder logic for system diagnostics.
• Handle conveyor maintenance and ensure smooth operation in a food manufacturing environment.

Essential Skills:

• Proficiency in PLC troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Strong electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with photo eye sensors and automation systems.
• Knowledge of robotics troubleshooting.
• Understanding of ladder logic and Siemens PLCs.
• Ability to perform preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Experience in conveyor maintenance.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Familiarity with VFDs and 3 phase motors.
• Experience working with 480-volt systems.
• Skills in machinery wiring and industrial electricity.

Schedule:

2nd Shift: 3PM-11PM

3rd Shift: 11pm - 7am

Currently running about 50hr work weeks due to demand. Other overtime will be available as well, MUST BE OPEN TO WEEKEND WORK AS NEEDED

Pay:

$28-35 hr. based on experience level.

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $34.00/hr.
