Panel Builder

We are seeking a skilled panel builder with a strong understanding of electrical standards such as NEMA, NEC, UL, and IEC. The ideal candidate will be able to efficiently work without direct supervision while maintaining a neat, efficient, and safe workplace.

Responsibilities

• Maintain working knowledge of applicable electrical standards.
• Wire panel devices according to provided electrical schematics.
• Route and bundle wires and cables neatly and according to established electrical standards.
• Check work to ensure error-free products.
• Keep red-lines of any changes required during manufacturing and turn in to supervisor on completion of the project.
• Provide all tools necessary to perform the job function.

Essential Skills

• Ability to follow and understand assembly instructions, including drawings, prints, and electrical schematics.
• Ability to layout and mount components.
• Ability to wire assembled components from simple schematics and/or wire lists.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with panel building, control panel, panel wiring, and electrical wiring.
• Skills in blueprint reading, electrical assembly, machine building, and control panels.
• Experience in mounting components, drilling, and tapping.
• Occasional assistance in employee development and continuous improvement.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
