Formulation Technician & Packaging Operator

As a either a Formulation Technician or Packaging Operator, you will work Monday-Wednesday nights from 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM. Other shifts are available. You will be a vital part of a team dedicated to making a positive impact on a global scale, helping to make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer. Located in Cincinnati, OH, this site is a Center of Excellence for specialized oral solid dose manufacturing and drug development within the Pharma Services Group.

Responsibilities

• Perform packaging line operations including operating and monitoring equipment, in-process testing, filling, capping, labeling, cartoning, palletizing, equipment setup, and cleanup.
• Troubleshoot and optimize packaging equipment performance.
• Identify and resolve quality problems while maintaining cGMP standards.
• Assist with ensuring the packaging line operates at an acceptable production rate.
• Perform GMP documentation, in-process testing, breakdown investigations, and repairs related to packaging production.

Essential Skills

• High School Diploma required.
• 1 year of previous experience in a manufacturing environment within pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, or food processing industries strongly preferred.
• Effective written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to follow cGMP and other regulatory requirements.
• Ability to maintain compliance in all SOP, cGMP, EHS, and other training curriculum as assigned.
• Operate and troubleshoot manufacturing equipment.
• Work on assignments that are routine to semi-routine in nature.
• Mechanical proficiency and ability to disassemble and reassemble various types of equipment.
• Basic reading comprehension and math skills vital to follow sophisticated technical instructions and complete BPR calculations.
• Interpersonal skills and ability to work both individually and as part of a team.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.10/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
