Packager

The candidate will work closely with the inventory management system, utilizing a Warehouse Management System (WMS). Responsibilities include entering orders into the system and verifying material accuracy before processing.

Responsibilities

• Enter orders into the inventory management system accurately.
• Verify materials before processing orders.
• Package and label products according to company standards.
• Handle general labor duties such as packing, stocking, and palletizing.
• Operate forklifts, both stand-up and sit-down models.
• Conduct order picking and material handling tasks.
• Utilize RF Scanning equipment for inventory and shipping processes.

Essential Skills

• Minimum of 6 months warehouse experience.
• Proficiency in inventory and shipping processes.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Experience with packaging, labeling, and order picking.
• Competence in operating forklifts and RF Scanning equipment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with WMS is advantageous.
• Familiarity with material handling and stocking.

Work Environment

The role is based in a large distribution and warehouse setting, working within a team of around 10 people. The position operates on the 1st shift from 8 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday. Employees are required to wear steel-toed boots above the ankle and pants without holes or frays, along with a shirt with sleeves. The work schedule includes a one-hour unpaid lunch break and two paid 15-minute breaks.

Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $18.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
