Sorting Operator/Bulk Packing, 1st Shift, $18-22/hr

We are seeking a dedicated Production Associate to oversee our production line, producing various fasteners for multiple automotive companies. This role involves performing visual inspections and quality checks on finished products, unloading hoppers, preparing boxes for shipment, utilizing RF scanners to track outgoing inventory, and loading boxes of fasteners onto conveyors. Additionally, the role requires performing minor maintenance on machines and assisting with other production tasks as needed, while ensuring all job duties are performed safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Oversee production line producing various fasteners for automotive companies.
• Perform visual inspection and quality checks on finished products.
• Unload hoppers and prepare boxes for shipment.
• Utilize RF scanner to track outgoing inventory.
• Load boxes of fasteners onto conveyor.
• Perform minor maintenance on machines as needed.
• Assist with other production tasks as required.
• Perform all job duties in a safe and efficient manner.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1-2 years of previous manufacturing or warehouse experience preferred.
• Previous material handling experience is a plus.
• Ability to read a tape measure.

Job Type & Location

This is a contract to hire position based out of Hudson, Ohio.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.
