TIG Welder

We are seeking a skilled MIG/TIG welder to join our team, specializing in welding thin stainless steel using MIG/TIG or heliarc techniques. You will be instrumental in producing custom, short-run prototype equipment for the food industry.

Responsibilities

• Perform TIG and MIG welding on thin stainless steel.
• Produce custom and prototype equipment for the food industry.
• Read and interpret blueprints to ensure precise fabrication.
• Use a variety of hand tools and measuring instruments for intricate welding processes.
• Operate welding equipment and adjust machine settings for various welding processes.
• Perform fixturing and set-up as required.

Essential Skills

• A minimum of 7+ years of welding experience.
• Proficiency in TIG and MIG welding.
• Strong math skills.
• Welder qualifications per ASME SECTION IX and/or AWS D1.1 for GTAW, FCAW, and/or GMAW in Horizontal, Vertical, and All Positions.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Ability to work on intricate welding processes to develop complex fabrications.
• Experience in using and setting up a variety of hand tools and welding equipment.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $36.00/hr.
