Job Description

As an Implant Operator, you will work primarily on sub-assemblies of implantable devices. Your role involves assembling these devices under a microscope for 90% of the day and working with your hands on small parts, sometimes as tiny as the head of a pin. You will be responsible for inspecting and testing products and will also receive cross-training in operating press machines.

Responsibilities

• Assemble implantable devices under a microscope.
• Work with small parts, ensuring precision and quality.
• Inspect and test products to maintain high standards.
• Operate press machines after cross-training.
• Ensure work is conducted in a cleanroom environment.

Essential Skills

• Minimum 1 year of experience in medical assembly with a microscope.
• Proficiency in machine operation, injection molding, assembly, and trimming.
• Dexterity and excellent hand-eye coordination.
• Ability to use a microscope and operate hand tools.
• Strong attention to detail.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with medical molding and cleanroom operations.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
• Capability to prioritize and multitask efficiently.
• Willingness to cross-train in other production areas when required.

Work Environment

The work environment is a very clean medical setting, with assembly areas and some presses located in Class 7 and Class 8 Clean Rooms. Employees enjoy a well-maintained break room and work in a newer building designed to facilitate a productive work atmosphere.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Minneapolis, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.43/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
