Mechanical Installer in Sioux Falls, SD

Join a dynamic team in a project involving the installation of robotic arms and related systems for an automation upgrade at a facility. This role is integral to the assembly and installation of 20 robotic arms, 40 sub-stations, and internal site fencing, contributing to a significant modernization project.

Responsibilities:

• Install robotic arms on loading docks and assist in the setup of sub-stations and fencing.
• Utilize power tools to commission towers following detailed diagrams.
• Run wiring for power supply and perform material handling using pallet jacks.
• Assist project teams with commissioning, cleaning, and building robotic arms and stations.
• Follow detailed instructions and ensure all installations meet safety standards.

Skills:

• Proven installation experience with machinery or robotics.
• Ability to lift 40-50lbs consistently and work 8-hour shifts on cement floors.
• Good attendance record and ability to take direction well.
• Experience with blueprints and strong mechanical aptitude.
• Pass criteria testing.

Work Environment

The work environment includes a large, multi-level warehouse facility that is currently under construction, which can be messy and loud. The job requires working on mezzanine levels with a mix of air conditioning and open air, making it physically demanding. Employees are expected to present themselves professionally, wearing jeans, steel-toed shoes, and safety gear such as high-visibility vests, safety glasses, hard hats, gloves, and earplugs. The standard shift is from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, with a 30-minute lunch break, totaling 40 hours per week.

Pay and Benefits
