Electro/Mechanical Assembler Openings

The assembler is responsible for assembling and piecing parts, components, electrical distribution equipment and sub-assemblies to produce commercial and industrial electrical units. You will receive daily work instructions from the lead and collaborate closely with the engineering team to understand the assembly process.

Responsibilities

• Position, gather, and arrange parts for proper assembly, ensuring fit and tolerances are verified.
• Perform assembly tasks independently using hand and power tools in your designated work area.
• Interpret work instructions, designs, and schematics accurately.
• Mount assembled components such as transformers, panel boards, capacitors, circuit breakers, and switches in cabinets.
• Assemble and fabricate sheet metal parts, ensuring the final product meets specifications.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in using hand and power tools, including screwdrivers, hammers, and torque tools.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Capability to work independently.
• Minimum of 1 year assembly experience in a commercial or industrial setting.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $27.00/hr.
