Mechanical Assembler, 1st Shift, 21+hr

Mechanical Assembler | 1st Shift | Canton

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Assembler for our 1st shift, working Monday to Thursday from 5am to 3:30pm in Canton, OH. This role involves mechanical assembly of semi-finished products to complete machine assemblies of conveyor systems, using various hand, measurement, and power tools.

Candidates with car mechanics, back yard mechanics, any motor repair etc. do well in this role!

Responsibilities

• Assemble semi-finished products to complete conveyor system assemblies.
• Add components such as nuts, bolts, couplings, and conveyors to fabricated structures.
• Utilize hand, measurement, and power tools to complete tasks.
• Follow detailed work instructions and blueprints.
• Log daily notes into the computer for the following shift.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency with hand, measurement, and power tools.
• Ability to follow work instructions and read blueprints.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Experience in assembly, machine building, construction, or automotive mechanics.
• 2+ years of relevant experience in manufacturing or automotive mechanics.
• Strong measurement skills and attention to detail.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Canton, Ohio.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.79 - $23.08/hr.
