Mechanic

Join our team as a mechanic where you will be responsible for installing and assembling equipment on work trucks, including beds, plows, tool boxes, and more. You will assemble tool boxes, bolt on truck boxes, install mud flaps, and mount crane and ramp holders on trucks. Additionally, you will install tail lights and read blueprints or work diagrams to install hydraulic equipment and parts. Your role will also include performing testing and inspections on all installations and wiring as needed.

Responsibilities

• Install and assemble equipment on work trucks.
• Assemble and bolt on truck boxes.
• Install mud flaps, crane holders, and ramp holders.
• Install tail lights and perform wiring as needed.
• Read and interpret blueprints or work diagrams.
• Perform testing and inspections on all installations.

Essential Skills

• Minimum of 2 years of mechanical aptitude experience in fields like auto, diesel, military, industrial mechanics, or similar.
• Ability to read blueprints or work instructions.
• Proficiency in using hand, power, and air tools.
• Ownership of basic hand tools such as sockets and a tape measure.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Possession of steel toes or composite toe shoes.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with 12V wiring is a plus.

Work Environment

This role offers a day shift from 7 am to 4 pm in a mechanic bay environment, which can be hot in the summer and cold in the winter. Opportunities are available for both heavy-duty (more experienced) and light-duty (less experienced) roles. The work environment supports North America's leading manufacturer of work truck bodies and truck beds, providing a comprehensive network and install capabilities for various vehicle types.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sharonville, Ohio.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $25.00/hr.
