Mechanic / Service Technician

We are seeking a Mechanic / Service Technician to support a growing operation. This position is a blended shop and field service role working on power distribution rental equipment, including industrial diesel compressors, generators, HVAC equipment, and compressed air systems. Time is split evenly between shop and field work, with travel within a 2-hour radius.

Responsibilities:

• Perform maintenance and service on industrial diesel compressors and generators
• Troubleshoot electrical systems and related equipment
• Complete preventative maintenance and repair tasks
• Read and interpret electrical schematics and hydraulic flow diagrams
• Work with AC/DC systems and power distribution up to 480V

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience as a Mechanic or Service Technician
• Experience with diesel and automotive engines
• Strong electrical troubleshooting skills (engines, controllers, etc.)
• Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical drawings
• Experience with CDI and Munters equipment is a plus
• Knowledge of power distribution systems preferred

Work Environment & Schedule:

• Combination of shop and field work (local travel within 2 hours)
• On-call one week per month (additional compensation provided)
• Company vehicle and specialty tools provided (personal tools required)
• Home daily

This is a Contract position based out of Enola, PA.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $32.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
