Material Handler - Pay $16.50 - $18.50/hr

Warehouse/Material Handler

The employee will work in the warehouse, using an RF gun to locate and pick products to a pallet or overpack case. Responsibilities include moving inventory from specific areas using a walkie-rider or pallet jack, de-staging products into Pick Mod, and performing various warehouse activities with the WMS through RF equipment, pick to light technologies, or computer-based workstations. The role may involve working in departments such as Receiving, Case Pick Modules, Shipping, Returns, Freezer, and Refrigerated space.

Responsibilities

• Pick case quantities and build pallets for extended periods.
• Retrieve replenishments in the Refrigerator and Freezer.
• Deliver replenishments to pick modules using a pallet jack.
• Operate a powered stretch-wrap machine.
• Build and break down pallets as needed.
• Verify inventory levels in locations by performing cycle counts.
• Conduct assorted WMS tasks such as receiving materials, counting, sorting, verification of item numbers, lot numbers, expiration dates, and data entry.
• Focus on quality and accuracy as part of the company-wide goal: Quality First.

Essential Skills

• 1+ years of warehouse experience.
• 1+ year of RF scanning experience.
• Basic math and counting skills.
• Basic computer and calculator skills.
• Experience with inventory, forklift, material handling, pallet jack, labeling, warehouse inventory, shipping and receiving, loading, unloading, electric pallet jack, and order picking.

• Attention to detail.
• Ability to take time and learn from mistakes.
• Show care and understanding of quality over quota and quantity.

Work Environment

The pay period runs from Sunday to Saturday, with voluntary overtime available on weekends. Some tasks may require working in a cold container (refrigerator), allowing the use of a jacket without a hood and not oversized.

Pay and Benefits
