As a Maintenance/Repair Technician, you will set up and operate winding machines and equipment according to coil size, copper tubing specifications, number of turns, and design requirements. You will read and interpret blueprints, tape measures, and technical drawings, and utilize various hand and power tools, including grinders, drills, sanders, levels, squares, and wrenches. You will perform brazing of copper to copper and copper to brass using oxy-acetylene torch techniques and TIG weld stainless steel components as needed. Additionally, you will safely operate overhead cranes and forklifts to transport materials and completed coils, perform testing and final assembly of melting furnaces using prefabricated parts and hydraulic systems, and adhere to all housekeeping and safety procedures in accordance with company standards. Availability for overtime or Saturday half-days is required.

This position is a direct placement role with a pay rate of $24 per hour. The shift is from 6 am to 2:30 pm, with the potential to extend until 3:30 or 4:30 pm and some Saturdays, mostly half days. The facility is a large, heavy industrial environment focused on machine building. It is a fast-paced setting with an overflow of work and parts. Our company designs and manufactures world-class induction heating and melting equipment for various industries worldwide.
This is a permanent position based out of Warren, Ohio.
