Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician who will primarily focus on mechanical maintenance with some electrical tasks. The role involves maintaining and troubleshooting forming mills, coating lines, cutting machines, extrusion units, conveyors, and plating lines, among other equipment. The candidate will also be responsible for performing preventative maintenance and various general building maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Perform 70% mechanical and 30% electrical maintenance on equipment.
• Maintain and troubleshoot forming mills, coating lines, cutting machines, extrusion units, conveyors, and plating lines.
• Handle secondary equipment such as pumps, pneumatics, hydraulics, motors, gears, and shifters.
• Conduct electrical troubleshooting up to 480v three-phase, 120v single phase, and 24v ac/dc.
• Read blueprints and schematics to guide maintenance tasks.
• Perform MIG welding and some ARC welding.
• Disassemble components and rebuild machines.
• Conduct general building maintenance, including plumbing, changing lights, and painting.
• Clean furnaces using rods to clear raw materials.
• Lift objects weighing up to 50 pounds.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $32.00/hr.
