Industrial Maintenance Technician

Pay: $26-$35/hr

Shift: 2nd shift from Monday to Friday, 2pm-10:30pm, or an overnight schedule from 6pm-6:30am on a 2,2,3 schedule

Job Description

• Diagnose, adjust, maintain, and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment.
• Assist with installation of new equipment or modify existing equipment as required.
• Make suggestions for corrective measures when downtime results from mechanical or technical defects.
• Identify opportunities for improvement and provide feedback to supervisor about cost reduction, quality improvement, and yield control.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
• Minimum of 6 months industrial maintenance experience.
• Associate's degree or higher in Mechatronics, Electrical, Welding, or similar fields preferred.
• Previous experience working with VFD's (Variable Frequency Drive) preferred.
• Welding experience preferred.

Work Environment

Work in a highly automated, brand new chicken processing facility. The environment requires adherence to safety standards and the wearing of appropriate PPE. Be prepared to work in a refrigerated environment ranging from 45-50 degrees Fahrenheit.

Job Type & Location: This is a Permanent position based out of Fremont, NE.

Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $50000.00 - $70000.00/yr.
