Maintenance Engineer

We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Engineer to join our team. You will work either the 2nd shift from 2pm to 10:30pm or the 3rd shift from 10pm to 6am, Monday through Friday. The role involves maintaining plastic cutline extrusion equipment and performing both preventative and machine maintenance. You will be responsible for electrical troubleshooting, including working with voltages up to 480V, and maintaining a safe and clean work area at all times.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct maintenance on plastic cutline extrusion equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance and regular machine upkeep.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and conduct wiring, including wiring control panels.
• Work with electrical systems up to 480V.
• Pull conduit and wires, maintaining and installing control panels.
• Maintain a safe and clean work area at all times.

Essential Skills:

• Mechanical maintenance experience.
• Electrical maintenance experience up to 480V.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and schematics.
• Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Capability in wiring control panels.
• Preventative maintenance skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience in electrical troubleshooting of PLC frequency drives is a plus.
• Experience in plastic cutline extrusion equipment maintenance is preferred.
• 3-5 years of previous maintenance experience in both electrical and mechanical fields.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and stand for the duration of the shift.

Job Type & Location:

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wadsworth, OH.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $29.50/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
