Maintenance Engineer

We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Engineer for a third shift position in a food manufacturing environment. The role involves industrial maintenance with a focus on both electrical and mechanical skill sets. Candidates should be comfortable working with hair and beard nets and have a strong desire to be part of a family-oriented company culture.

Responsibilities

• Perform industrial maintenance tasks with a balance of electrical and mechanical skills.
• Troubleshoot and repair automated machinery, including PLC systems.
• Work with hydraulics, pneumatics, and ammonia refrigeration systems.
• Ensure compliance with food safety standards while maintaining equipment.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain a clean and efficient work environment.

Essential Skills

• 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting electrical and mechanical systems.
• Experience with automation and PLC systems.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in ammonia refrigeration is a plus.
• Work history in the food industry is advantageous.

Job Type & Location: This is a Contract position based out of Louisville, KY.

Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $29.00 - $32.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
