Maintenance Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team on the 1st shift, Monday through Friday from 7AM to 3:00PM. This role may require occasional on-call duties. The position involves working on the installation, replacement, and troubleshooting of industrial equipment and components, with a focus on electrical work (70%) and mechanical work (30%).

Responsibilities

  • Install, replace, and troubleshoot industrial equipment and components.
  • Perform electrical and mechanical troubleshooting and repairs, including 480v and 3 phase motors.
  • Demonstrate strong PLC troubleshooting skills, particularly with Siemens systems.
  • Program and troubleshoot Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) from Danfoss, SEW, Lenze, and Siemens.
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics.
  • Strip and rebuild machinery, including CNCs and manual equipment.
  • Conduct pneumatic repairs.
  • Fit and replace machine parts, requiring wrenching and building skills.
  • Work with industrial networks.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot robotic systems, specifically Fanuc or Kuka.

Essential Skills

  • Electrical maintenance experience with 480v and 3 phase systems.
  • Proficiency in PLCs and VFDs troubleshooting.
  • Experience with automation or robotics, such as Fanuc.
  • Strong mechanical skills, including hydraulics, pneumatics, and machine repair.
  • Diploma/Degree in Electrical Engineering Technology, Industrial Automation, Mechatronics, or a related field, or 10+ years equivalent work experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in industrial automation and control systems, or 8+ years without a diploma/degree.

Work Environment

Our facility spans 800,000 square feet, providing a clean, safe, and organized workspace. The climate-controlled environment ensures comfort year-round. Employees receive two paid 10-minute breaks during their shift and can eat at their workstations. Tobacco chewing is allowed, and there is a designated smoke shack for breaks.

Job Type & Location

This is a position based out of Massillon, Ohio.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $33.65 - $45.67/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
