Maintenance Engineer

As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for performing both preventative and reactive maintenance on various equipment and components. This includes pumps, motors, bearings, belts, drives, chains, fasteners, hydraulics, pneumatics, gaskets, conveyors, and gearboxes. You will also be tasked with diagnosing faults and managing supplies and equipment. Additionally, you will install components and fixtures as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on industrial pumps, motors, bearings, drives, belts, and chains.
• Conduct maintenance on fasteners, hydraulics, pneumatics, gaskets, packaging machinery, conveyors, and gearboxes.
• Diagnose equipment faults and manage the necessary supplies and equipment for repairs.
• Read blueprints for maintenance and installation purposes.
• Perform welding and rigging tasks as required.

• 3+ years of experience in preventative and corrective maintenance on industrial equipment.
• 3+ years of experience reading blueprints.
• Proficiency in welding and rigging.

• Experience with packaging machinery maintenance.
• Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills.

The work environment is split between outdoor reactive maintenance and indoor shop-based repairs and preventative maintenance tasks.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tipp City, OH.

The pay range for this position is $36.50 - $36.50/hr.
