Maintenance Engineer

We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Engineer to oversee all aspects of general facilities maintenance within a commercial office building environment. The role involves performing a variety of tasks, including minor plumbing, electrical, and HVAC work.

Responsibilities

• Maintain all aspects of general facilities within a commercial office building.
• Perform minor plumbing tasks such as changing faucets and drain lines.
• Conduct electrical work including changing lightbulbs, ballasts, and LED drivers.
• Engage in drywall and paint repair as well as construction of office furniture.
• Utilize HVAC skills to manage condensate lines, assist with preventive maintenance, clean HVAC units, and perform minor servicing.
• Apply commercial HVAC and facilities maintenance knowledge effectively.

Essential Skills

• Expertise in electrical and mechanical troubleshooting.
• Experience with HVAC, plumbing, and preventive maintenance.
• Proficiency in maintenance repair and facility upkeep.
• Knowledge of carpentry, painting, and electrical troubleshooting.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Familiarity with building maintenance and boiler operations.
• Ability to perform facility maintenance tasks efficiently.

Work Environment

The work schedule is from 6am to 2:30pm, Monday to Friday. You will be servicing a 20-building site, primarily using a golf cart for transportation between buildings. There is no travel involved.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Hartsville, South Carolina.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $28.00/hr.
