Machine Operator

We have exciting opportunities for Machine Operators on both the 1st and 2nd shifts. The machine operator would be responsible for operating a variety of machines within an automated packaging machine environment, and be responsible for maintaining machine set-up requirements and adjustments, in addition to ensuring quality meets expectations.

1st shift: 6am-3pm M-F, OT available based off demands

2nd shift: 3pm-11pm M-F OT available based off demands

Pay: $20.00-$24.00 per hour starting (Starting pay ranges based off experience level and skills.)

Responsibilities

• Operate and set up various production machines, mainly focusing on bagging, labeling, and sealing.
• Follow the production schedule and set up machines according to the product being processed.
• Use hand and power tools to set up machines and make necessary adjustments.
• Troubleshoot minor issues before involving maintenance.
• Supervise 2-6 operators on the line.
• Utilize a computer system for documentation.
• Collaborate with machine operators on resolving machine issues.
• Be willing to work extended hours and weekends when necessary.

Essential Skills

• 3+ years of machine setup experience.
• Proficient in using hand and power tools.
• Experience overseeing 2 or more people on a production line.
• Fluent in English.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in food manufacturing or other GMP-related fields.
• Bi-lingual capabilities are a plus.
