Machine Operator - 3rd Shift

We are seeking dedicated candidates to assist with machine operating at our Detroit facility.

Responsibilities:

• Load and unload CNC machines or presses.
• Use hand tools to assemble parts on a line.
• Measure parts to ensure they are within tolerance.
• Add covers to finished axles before they proceed to the paint line.

Essential Skills:

• Prior machine operating experience.
• Experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Ability to consistently lift 40 lbs.
• Ability to bend, lift, and twist throughout the shift.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Steel-toed boots or shoes.

Work Environment:

Work in a very clean, well-lit warehouse/production floor where safety is a top priority. The dress code includes jeans, a shirt with no logos or vulgar language, and steel-toed boots. The position is on the 3rd shift, running from Sunday to Thursday, 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with mandatory overtime currently set at 6 days per week.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Detroit, MI.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $18.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
