Machine Operator - Glove Manufacturing

Join a dynamic team in a leading company that specializes in manufacturing gloves for industrial, pharmaceutical, and nuclear applications. As a Machine Operator, you will play a vital role in operating automated machinery, ensuring the production of high-quality gloves.

Responsibilities

• Operate automated machinery using control screens.
• Perform minor troubleshooting and adjustments via machine control screens.
• Document and track levels of each batch of gloves throughout the production cycle.
• Inspect machines and gloves during production cycles.
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) when operating equipment.
• Perform lockout/tagout procedures when moving machines.
• Switch to different machines to start new batches as needed.
• Clean production tanks 1-2 times a month.

Essential Skills

• Experience in machine operation.
• Proficiency in following SOPs and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
• Basic computer skills.
• Strong attention to detail.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in cleanroom environments is beneficial.
• Inspection skills are an advantage.

Work Environment

Work in a cleanroom setting with a smaller team of about six people per shift. The facility operates under strict cleanliness standards, requiring the use of lab coats and respirators when necessary. The environment is temperature controlled, although the manufacturing floor may have a paint-like odor. Shifts available: 1st shift (6am - 2:30pm, Thursday - Monday) and 2nd shift (10am - 6:30pm, Sunday - Thursday).

This is a contract to hire position based out of San Marcos, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
