Machine Operator

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Machine Operator to join our team on the 2nd shift from 5:00 pm to 3:45 am, Monday through Thursday, with Friday shifts from 3 pm to 8 pm. The ideal candidate will set up and operate shop machines in accordance with established procedures and guidelines, ensuring precision and efficiency in every task.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate various shop machines following established procedures.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, job orders, routers, and diagrams to select dies, position, and secure machinery.
• Adhere to operating procedures and instructions.
• Adjust machine settings to complete tasks per specifications, aiming to run job orders accurately and maximize productivity.
• Detect and report defective materials or questionable conditions to supervisors.
• Communicate process and quality improvements via the internal system.
• Maintain a clean and safe work station by following the shop's 5S system.
• Perform basic math skills including counting and using tools such as tape measures, dial calipers, and other hand tools.
• Demonstrate strong manual dexterity and the ability to follow directions.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
