Facilities Maintenance Technician

The Facilities Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring the proper operation of HVAC systems, pumps, electrical distribution, and other essential systems throughout multiple buildings. This role involves both the repair and maintenance of systems, as well as preventative maintenance and equipment rounds through the facility. Will read various gauges and make necessary adjustments to keep systems functioning optimally.

Essential Skills

  • Experience with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and facilities maintenance.
  • Skills in boiler operation, construction, and maintenance techniques preferred
  • Ability to troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on industrial equipment.
  • Competency in reading schematics or blueprints.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • One year of experience in a relevant trade.
  • Tech school diploma in a trade is a plus.
  • Boiler maintenance or operation experience is advantageous.

Work Environment

The position is available on 1st shift, from 6 am to 3 pm, with the requirement to work every other weekend and some additional shifts.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based in Kenosha County, WI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $27.00/hr.
