Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Mechanic to complete mechanical work on vocational vehicles in our test bay shop. You will be responsible for ensuring that all vehicles are maintained to the highest standards.

Responsibilities:

• Perform mechanical repairs and maintenance on vocational vehicles.
• Learn and execute oil changes, filter changes, and vehicle greasing.
• Change tires, replace brakes, and conduct exhaust repairs.
• Repair basic electrical components, including lights.
• Fix air leaks and perform other essential vehicle maintenance tasks.

Essential Skills:

• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Experience in mechanical repairs, welding, and hydraulics.
• Basic understanding of electrical systems.
• Ability to use basic hand tools.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Prior mechanic experience is beneficial.
• Mechanic skills and abilities are ideal.

Work Environment:

You will be working in a manufacturing-type environment, focusing on mechanical repairs and maintenance. Basic hand tools are required for daily tasks.

This is a contract position based out of Hollidaysburg, Pennsylvania.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $20.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
