As a Crane Operator, you will be responsible for operating cranes to lift and transport stock, forging dies, trim presses, and other equipment around the forging presses and pre-heat furnaces. You will play a vital role in providing crane services for changing dies and related equipment, while also contributing to die scheduling and monitoring die temperatures.

The work environment involves inspecting finished forged metals in a heavy industrial manufacturing setting. It can be hot in the summer and cold in the winter. Metals weighing 20 - 350 lbs are moved via crane or automated robot, eliminating physical lifting requirements. Inspectors will have assigned work stations but will move around for different quality testing tasks.
