Inventory Clerk

The Inventory Clerk plays a key role in supporting production operations by organizing manufacturing materials, maintaining accurate inventory records, and assisting the Production Manager in achieving team goals.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate and organized inventory; conduct regular bin audits.
• Receive components from Molding and place them in designated bins.
• Review and prioritize the open jobs list.
• Enter job transactions into the computer system.
• Print Job Travelers and associated drawings for each job.
• Verify drawing identification and revision match the Job Traveler.
• Pull components from inventory based on job traveler specifications.
• Deliver completed kits to the loading department.
• Pull products from inventory according to order requirements.
• Assist the Sales department with inventory-related inquiries.

Essential Skills:

• Inventory management
• Material handling

• Experience using ERP systems
• Capable of lifting 50lbs consistently

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Previous warehouse experience for a manufacturing company
• Shipping and receiving experience
• Forklift operation
• Data entry skills

Work Environment:

Work takes place in a warehouse/manufacturing environment that is not overly industrial. The position is on the 1st shift, Monday through Friday from 7am to 3:30pm. The role involves consistent heavy lifting of up to 50lbs and utilizes an inventory management system akin to a giant vending machine.

Job Type & Location:

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Marcos, California.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
