Hiring Inventory Clerk

The Inventory Specialist will be responsible for managing inventory across three warehouse buildings. The role requires working independently to ensure accuracy and efficiency in inventory management.

Responsibilities:

• Perform cycle counts and monthly inventory audits to ensure accuracy.
• Manage bill of materials and update inventory records.
• Operate a sit-down forklift for approximately one hour per day.
• Utilize ERP systems to track inventory, with AS100 experience preferred.
• Work with spreadsheets to manage inventory data and discrepancies.
• Edit and track materials moving in and out of inventory.
• Maintain responsibility for inventory across three locations.
• Identify and resolve inventory discrepancies independently.
• Assist in unloading trucks and support the shipping department when necessary.
• Work independently with occasional collaboration with the shipping department.

Essential Skills:

• 1-2 years of experience in inventory control.
• Experience with ERP systems (AS100 preferred, but others accepted).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for inventory tracking.
• Strong ability to identify and correct inventory discrepancies.
• Experience handling large quantities of inventory (150 racks or more).

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Forklift experience (sit-down forklift).
• Ability to work independently while also assisting other departments as needed.

Work Environment:

Work in an industrial manufacturing environment with loud and large equipment. The role requires working across three different buildings, with conditions that can be hot in the summer and cold in the winter. While the majority of the time will be spent working independently, there will be some collaboration with the shipping and sheer departments.

Job Type & Location:

This is a contract to hire position based out of Vista, California.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
