General Labor Position

Aerotek is hiring for a General Labor position in Spokane, WA at $18.83/hr.

Job Description:

• Join our team to ensure the cleanliness and sanitation of a flour mill.
• Begin with general cleaning tasks and, over time, gain cross-training in packing, milling, and other key operations.
• This role starts with 30-60 days focused on maintaining safety standards through thorough cleaning.

Responsibilities:

• Perform general cleaning and sanitation of the flour mill.
• Sweep up flour dust and ensure the plant meets safety standards.
• Conduct blowdowns and clean dust off equipment.
• Execute lock out/tag out procedures when cleaning inside equipment.
• Engage in packing, milling, and warehouse duties as needed.
• Participate in a rotating schedule after initial training period.

Essential Skills:

• Enjoyment of hands-on work.
• Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems.
• Comfortable using computers for data entry.
• Capacity to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Interest in learning a trade such as milling.
• Great tenure in past jobs.
• Willingness to grow within the company.
