Machine Operator

Job Title: Machine Operator-1st/2nd/3rd Shifts-$22/hr-24/hr.

Job Description

As a Machine Operator, you will operate EDM machines to generate components and perform equipment set-up, operation, and in-process inspection to accomplish assigned tasks. You will work directly with engineers and supervisors to ensure product integrity and quality. Additionally, you will collaborate with engineers to develop process documentation and adhere to Standard Operating Procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate EDM machines to generate components.
• Perform equipment set-up, operation, and in-process inspection.
• Collaborate with engineers and supervisors to ensure product quality.
• Develop process documentation with engineers.
• Follow and adhere to Standard Operating Procedures.

Essential Skills

• 2-3 years of manufacturing experience, specifically in machine operation.
• Experience with microscopes.
• Proficiency in computer use, especially with Excel for documentation.
• Strong communication skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience working in a cleanroom environment.
• Experience with SMT machines and rework processes.

Work Environment

The position offers various shifts including 1st shift (6am-2:30pm), 2nd shift (2pm-10:30pm), and 3rd shift (10:15pm-6:45am). Hiring is staggered with a maximum of two new hires every two weeks to ensure smooth onboarding and integration.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Carlsbad, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $23.00/hr.
