Cleanroom Technician for 3rd Shift

Pay Rate- $19/hr to $21/Hr

Job Description

As a Cleanroom Technician, you will support daily production and packaging activities in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and all related standard operating procedures (SOPs). You will work diligently to achieve assigned production goals and meet unscheduled peaks in workload to ensure timely product release and prevent back orders. Collaborating with your Team Leader and colleagues, you will address critical raw materials, in-process procedures, and specifications, while implementing corrective actions for technical issues related to raw materials and finished products. You will perform in-process quality checks on sub-assemblies and finished products, promptly addressing line issues and production problems with your Team Leader. Accurate record-keeping and documentation in accordance with Good Documentation Practices (GDP) and SOPs are crucial, and you will also utilize the computerized Materials Resource Planning (MRP) inventory system as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Support daily production and packaging activities following GMP and SOPs.
  • Achieve assigned production goals and manage workload peaks to ensure timely product release.
  • Collaborate with Team Leader to address critical raw materials, procedures, and specifications.
  • Implement corrective actions for technical issues related to raw materials and finished products.
  • Conduct in-process quality checks on sub-assemblies and finished products.
  • Address line issues and production problems, notifying Team Leader of necessary corrective actions.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with GDP and SOPs.
  • Utilize computerized MRP inventory system to report lot-controlled ingredients on batch records.

Essential Skills

  • Understanding of cleanroom operations, production, and GDP.
  • Proficiency in SOPs and their application in manufacturing environments.
  • Experience in machine operation, quality assurance, packaging, and inspection.
  • Familiarity with GMP, GDP, and manufacturing acronyms.
  • Computer operation skills, including knowledge of ERP systems.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • At least two years of assembly/packaging experience, preferably in regulated medical device or pharmaceutical environments.
  • Ability to comprehend coagulation-based manufacturing processes.
  • Familiarity with GDP, GMP, Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), FDA, and ISO.
  • Knowledge of qualification and validation trials is a plus.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and large ERP systems preferred.

Training is provided, with some overtime being voluntary and some mandatory, notified in advance.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Diego, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.85/hr.
