As a Cleanroom Assembler, you will be assigned a specific product and daily build quantity goals. You will have access to parts and tools that are laid out at your station, along with prints and drawings accessible on a computer for guidance. Your role involves performing both mechanical and electrical assembly tasks at a bench station. Mechanical tasks may include assembling screws, bolts, framing, and housings, while electrical tasks involve laying-in wires and connections. You will also use quality inspection instruments to ensure build tolerances are met.

Responsibilities

• Follow daily build quantity goals for assigned products.
• Use provided parts and tools at your station to perform assembly tasks.
• Access and interpret prints and drawings on a computer.
• Conduct mechanical assembly using screws, bolts, framing, and housings.
• Perform electrical assembly tasks such as laying-in wires and connections.
• Utilize quality inspection instruments to check build tolerances.

Essential Skills

• 3-5 years of technical assembly experience with full electromechanical builds.
• Proficiency in reading assembly drawings and prints.
• 3-5 years of experience with hand and power tools, including impact drivers, manual and electric screwdrivers, and T-Handle Allen wrenches.
• 3-5 years of experience reading metric and standard tape measures.
• 3-5 years of experience using calipers and micrometers.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with height gauges, thread gauges, or similar quality instruments.
• Experience working with .03 micron tolerance.

The work environment involves building complex electro-mechanical assemblies for military robotics, microchips for medical applications, and custom machined components. You will work in a cleanroom that is climate-controlled with a team size of 14-16. The position offers two shifts: 1st shift runs from 6AM to 2:30PM, Monday to Friday, with optional overtime, and 2nd shift runs from 2:30PM to 1:00AM, Monday to Thursday, also with optional overtime. The dress code includes closed-toe shoes, jeans, and T-shirts.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Dayton, Ohio.

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.85/hr.
