Flavor Compounding Manufacturing Tech

Join our dynamic team as a Manufacturing Tech, where you will play a crucial role in supporting machine operators and ensuring smooth production processes. You will work in a unique environment surrounded by a variety of flavors, assisting in mixing, blending, and compounding products. This position is ideal for individuals with a background in food manufacturing or pharmaceuticals.

Responsibilities

• Assist machine operators with off-loading materials.
• Abide by all safety regulations and rules.
• Manually move buckets and vats of flavors.
• Assist with mixing, blending, and compounding of products.
• Perform various duties around the facility to support operations.
• Clean the facility and equipment, including bowls after food production.
• Use a tablet for documentation and work orders.
• Consistently lift 50+ lbs and assist in various production areas as needed.

Essential Skills

• Experience in mixing, production, and manufacturing.
• Ability to handle material, blend, and compound products.
• Familiarity with GMP and FDA regulations.
• Comfortable with manual labor and lifting heavy objects.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Previous experience in food manufacturing or pharmaceuticals.
• Ability to read and follow recipes and work orders.
• Comfortable working in an environment with strong flavors.
• Ability to work with or without facial hair using a beard mask.

Work Environment

You will be working the 2nd shift from 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm, with occasional overtime and weekend shifts as required. The work environment is a flavor and fragrances facility, where proper PPE is provided, but strong smells are present. Be prepared for 12-hour shifts during high production periods.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of CERRITOS, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr.
