Welder

Join our team as a welder, where you will be responsible for welding and fabricating structural steel within a shop environment. This role primarily involves welding I beams for the construction industry. Candidates must be proficient in reading blueprints and welding efficiently. The ability to fit and fabricate is preferred, though not strictly required.

Responsibilities

• Perform welding and fabrication on structural steel, focusing on I beams.
• Read and interpret blueprints to execute precise welding tasks.
• Work efficiently and effectively in a shop environment.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure quality and safety standards are met.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in flux core welding.
• Experience with MIG welding and structural steel fabrication.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Skill in FCAW and hard wire welding.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with fitting and fabrication.
• Knowledge of mild steel and TIG welding.
• Understanding of assembly processes.

This is a contract to hire position based out of Mead, WA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $32.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
