As a machine operator, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining machinery used in the manufacturing process. You will work both individually and as part of a team to deliver consistent work and report accurate information on a timely basis. Success in this role requires the ability to produce timely and high-quality output while adhering to company quality and production standards. A commitment to continuous improvement is essential.
Prepare machinery for operation by performing routine maintenance tasks and conducting safety checks.
Set up and operate production machines according to established procedures and guidelines.
Monitor machines during operation to ensure product quality standards are met.
Conduct regular in-process inspections to maintain quality control standards.
Troubleshoot equipment and make necessary adjustments during the production process.
Record data such as production numbers, machine settings, and product quality data.
Follow safety protocols and adhere to proper use of PPE to ensure a safe working environment.
Consistently meet production requirements.
Maintain a safe and clean work area.
Follow company rules and participate in cross-training and other training requirements.
2nd shift: 3:00pm-11:30pm
Pay Rate: $21-$22/hr.
8 hour shifts while training.
After training candidates need to be flexible to work 1-2 hours of overtime/day.
Experience in production and machine operating.
Ability to use computers for data entry in ERP systems.
Mechanical aptitude.
Inspection and machine operation skills.
Ability to set up and operate machinery.
Ability to speak and read English effectively.
Ability to read and interpret gauges and record measurements.
Understanding of safety rules, MSDS, and maintenance instructions.
Ability to stand for 8-10 hours.
Prior experience is preferred but not required.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent time management capabilities.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Huntington Beach, California.
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $22.00/hr.
