Medical Device Assembler
We are seeking a dedicated Assembler I to join our team on a 12-18 month contract.
This role involves assembling and testing medical devices using a variety of tools, fixtures, and equipment.
You will be working in a cleanroom environment, with a focus on quality and precision.
Responsibilities:
- Understand and follow detailed assembly instructions, processes, and procedures.
- Comply with policies, guidelines, and regulatory requirements per the Quality System.
- Report problems with quality, processes, equipment, and materials to the Project Engineer or Supervisor.
- Provide hands-on job function training to coworkers as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to facilitate manufacturing functions.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Essential Skills:
- Experience with microscope and small part assembly.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work with a microscope for 90% of the shift.
- Minimum 6 months of high-volume small part assembly experience.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience in medical device assembly.
- Cleanroom experience.
- Proficiency with hand tools and measuring tools like calipers and micrometers.
Work Environment:
- You will be working in a cleanroom environment, 100% of the time, alongside close stations.
- The role requires flexibility to work weekdays and Saturdays as needed, with potential shifts starting as early as 5:00 am and ending at 3:30 pm.
Job Type & Location:
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Irvine, California.
Pay and Benefits:
The pay range for this position is $19.50 - $21.00/hr.
