The HVAC Service Technician responds to scheduled service calls, typically handling four appointments per day, to diagnose and repair a wide range of heating and cooling equipment. This role involves troubleshooting issues on furnaces, rooftop units (RTUs), air handlers, air conditioning units, mini splits, some ductwork, and thermostats, while providing clear communication and excellent customer service throughout each visit.

This role is field-based and focused on HVAC service work at customer locations. You primarily work from a company-provided service van, traveling between residential and commercial sites to perform diagnostics and repairs on furnaces, RTUs, air handlers, AC units, mini splits, some ductwork, and thermostats. The position involves working both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions, as well as in mechanical rooms, rooftops, and other equipment areas. You regularly use standard HVAC tools, diagnostic instruments, and refrigeration gauges. The schedule is structured around daily service calls, typically averaging four appointments per day, and requires maintaining a professional appearance and demeanor while interacting directly with customers.
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sterling Heights, MI.
The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $36.00/hr.
